Creating first Virtual Reality showroom for Subaru Asia using latest Oculus Quest 2 Enterprise
In 2020 due to Circuit Breaker, in Singapore. The motor industry saw a 30% decrease in sales in Singapore alone. Tan Chong Limited, Subaru Singapore’s sales & marketing team, decided to improve on their sales strategy using Augmented & Virtual Reality as their major platform. Thats when they reached out towards Vostok VR to create a VR Experience that would virtualize all their Subaru car models (Total 15x cars), giving them the ability to showcase all their cars in a small physical showroom. The experience would consist of more than the usual 3D Car model but also including 30x Safety Animation Features, with this said it would better illustrate the advantage of Subaru cars compared to other brands.
This is one of the first projects in ASEAN to use the recently launched Oculus Quest 2 for commercial marketing purposes.
The final delivery consists of 3 things:
Virtual Reality test driver experience (Mainly for physical showroom use)
Augmented Reality, giving the customers the ability to access the experience from anywhere, and using any smartphones & tablets.
Over 10x countries launch, spread over ASEAN & Asia market.
The first market launch targeting their headquarters, in Singapore. That would have a massive media presence, to show the future vision of Tan Chong International.
