Virtual & Augmented Reality Trainings

One of the first real promises of VR was reshaping the way companies approach staff training. Most of corporate trainings has always been an area of difficulty because it can frequently require the travelling of long distances, proper documentation covering potential safety concerns and complex training scenarios involving physical equipment.

Thus VR is now being used to change forever corporate training and serious games. At Vostok VR we have wide competency working with corporate VR/AR trainings. Key industries that uses our services are: Energy Sector, Manufacturing Industry, Industrial Plants, and Government Agencies

Our recent projects include:

1)      Geology VR Training using HTC Vive Pro. Expensive trips were moved in VR, so now every of company geologist can polish their skills and explore remote outcrops without need to travel overseas;

2) Well Lifecycle Training using Oculus Quest. The experiences allow employees to hone their instincts, catch their mistakes and make instant decisions so that they’re better equipped to work smarter and safer;

3) Electric Equipment Maintenance using AR. Mobile application that goes directly to customer so their engineers can provide first line of support and maintenance for newly purchased industrial equipment.

What platform supported for VR/AR trainings?

1)  Best experience you would get using PC powered Oculus Rift, HTC Vive Pro headsets. Though we have more requests for standalone (no need to have expensive PC) Oculus Quest. Light, portable, within 500 USD price range – it is ideal for corporate training and simulations;

2)  Mobile phones are mostly used for AR trainings and some basic 360/VR scenarious;

3)  Desktop version gives least flexibility, but most accessible for majority of customers

Please check some of our recent examples below and do contact us to discuss your particular project details.

EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS SHOWCASE THEIR PRODUCT IN AUGMENTED REALITY WITH STEP-BY-STEP AR SUPPORT GUIDE.

Showcasing industrial equipment during various industry events may be a tedious process: equipment logistic, certification, custom clearance, physical sizes and support on site. Thus our European customer decided to create a real equipment configurator in Augmented Reality. And to move this experience even further, to integrate step-by-step AR support guide (which will save money for their customers and significantly improve post-sales service quality).
